Musiqsafari Arusha

does not take place

Probably the most beautiful end to a Musiqtrip one could wish for. After the 10 days on Zanzibar we fly to the mainland to Arusha. We go on safari through the Arusha National Park and join the Maasai in the Maasai Lodge of “Africa Amini Life Foundation”. A charitable tourism organisation for the women and children of the Maasai, which we support with this project.

The end of the trip is a party in the Mirror Cave with the Maasai.

original maasai lodge

Experiencing Tanzania up close among the Maasai and the endless expanse of the African steppe all around offers a unique experience.

As told by indigenous peoples, the lodge was built on land that was considered uninhabitable. But the land changed when the lodge took its place there. The place, filled with life and emotion, now radiates a strong energy.

Africa amini life foundation

Africa Amini sees itself as a place where people in need get tools in hand to be able to grow into their own potential. This is medical help to survive and regain health. Education for children by free access to schools and knowledge transfer to Adults in different professions. With this trip you support the Foundation (all income is used for charitable purposes) and help the Maasai children and women.

MUSIQTRIP supports the Children’s Villa with this trip. You can make a big difference for the poorest among us with a small donation. In November 2012, under the coordination of Dr. Helga Schiller, the children’s villa was built, which is to give more than 40 children from poorest circumstances and often without parents from Momella and the surrounding area the possibility of a new home.

The accommodation

There are 16 earth houses to choose from, located in different places in a replica Masai village. Each bungalow is powered by solar energy and offers European standard, with toilet and shower with hot water. Every day, the sunrise behind Mount Kilimanjaro can be experienced on the terrace, surrounded by African nature. International and traditional Swahili dishes are enhanced with home-grown herbs and served in the restaurant. Free activities such as spear throwing, dances, nature walks or conversations around the campfire allow interaction with the Maasai. To relax, there is a rest area, a massage room and a pool and sauna.
